[/size]Devil Dogs vs. Challengers
This story starts out with two young girls trying to keep their friendship alive. It's the year 2135. Technology has progressed so far that we were able to infuse the element: fire, water, earth, or air into your DNA. They use a certain amino acid called X. It pairs up with the other amino acid T for all you people who understand genetics that is. In other words, you're capable of controlling the element to your will. The setting takes place in the future version of Chicago, Illinois.
Our main characters are Lena and Lori. Their DNA track had mutated so much that they control the darkness and the light. Now you're probably thinking what's wrong with two girls with different elements to be friends? Well...they live in two different parts of town, the North and the South. The north and the south abosolutely hate each other. The North side is lead by Jon and Hayley, and they can themselves Devil Dogs. The South side is lead by Erick and Trinity, and they call themselves the Challengers.
These battles have constantly been going at each other for the past ten years. The only leader to have gone through all ten years of fighting is Erick. Each side has a different story. Jon received leadership from the past leader, which ws his older brother, Anthony. Jon chose Hayley to help him because she was tough, head-strong, and a very good friend.
On the Challenger side, Erick has been leading for eight years, now. He took the role of leading when the past leader suddenly died. He dated his co-leader Trinity, but they broke and now are very good friends. People are constantly trying to stop the fighting like Ms. Julia Young, a teacher at the local high school and headmaster Greggory Kingston. Although, there is a part of the city where there is no fighting allowed. It's the center and its in the middle of the two territories. There is another element hidden within the neutral zone. His name is Justin Webb. He has the power over electricity. He has a crush on Lori.
Now that you know the past of these sides. It's your turn to create your character and choose a side. Dogs or Challengers. Which will it be?
