Personality [2-3 paragraphs]
Generally quiet, Allie was never much a people person. As a young girl she had few friends yet many enemies generally due to the fact that she was smarter than most people she knew. Not one to talk a lot, she is timid around her peers and more comfortable with adults. She was and is used to being ignored at the outskirts of a group, listening but not talking. The only things she really understands are horses. Even as a young girl she was unafraid to handle the craziest horses and would step up to them without fear. People said she had a 'way' with them; she loved to spend her time with and around the barn. It provided a safe place for her and the horses would listen to her without making her upset. Even now she would rather tell a horse what happened than a human, knowing that a horse can’t say bad things about her behind her back. Also something very few people see in advanced is that she has a temper that can easily be roused and when it does it is scary. She will yell and then become upset with herself, making people think she is a crybaby.
Appearance [2-3 paragraphs]
A fairly slim person, few people can believe Allie weighs so much. It is all muscle. She played sports all year round, from riding to basketball. She was a true athlete. Her height made basketball easy, making her the tallest girl on the team. It also made it easier for her to ride large horses. In fact she looks best on horses. She has long fingers, the nails generally kinda dirty from her gloves that have never been washed. She will only wear make-up for very important things and otherwise she dresses quite plainly. Her shoulder-length brown hair is layered and angled in the front, causing there always to be a strand loose from her pony tail. She hates it but will ignore it unless it gets in here dark brown eyes. Allie doesn't care how she dresses much in the barn, generally wearing a tee-shirt and jeans in the warmer weather unless she is wearing her britches. In the fall and spring she will hardly ever wear a coat and instead wears one of her fleece sweatshirts. Only in the winter will you see her wear a hat and even then she dislikes wearing hats.
Riding History [1-2 paragraphs]
Alicia, aka Allie, had all the horse exposure she needed. Her mother was competing at preliminary level eventing and schooling 2nd to 3rd level dressage movements. Allie started riding when she was 2 years old. It wasn't until she was 7 though that she started competing. She first did little jumper shows but then moved on to eventing. When she was 13 she went out and did a full summer of eventing where she didn't loose a single novice event. Then she moved up to Training level. Unfortunately her horse was not good so they did not do too well. It was after that that her Dressage trainer, Mary Howard, told her she could make her career in dressage too. So Allie stopped competing in eventing and focused more on dressage and some jumping.
It was then that she found her dream horse... He was not everyones ideal horse, being a freak and very sensitive, but Allie saw potential in him. She was able to work with him for a while and then was finally able to buy him. They became very close and competed mainly in dressage while she continued to work with him in jumping. When she turned 16 Mary Howard had found another horse for her, also crazy, it was perfect for Allie.
Desired Riding Level- Intermediate to advanced
Discipline schooling 4th level dressage, jumping up to 4ft, some cross country still
Overall History [1-2 paragraphs]
She lived a fairly normal life. I summed most of it up in the riding history but here is a little bit more. Her father was rich and disliked her passion for horses. He thought they were a waist of money (which they kinda are). Thankfully he continued to support Allie and her mother's love of horses. She was an only child, except for to half brothers from her father's previous marriage. She had a though life in school with very few friends.

Allie let out a breath as she reached the stall door. Inside stood a bay horse; his breath was forming small clouds of silver in the chill morning air. A dark blue blanket covered him but he still seemed slightly cold. With a sigh Allie entered the stall, sliding the door back and hooking up his stall guard. Instantly the gelding stepped towards her, looking for the treats he knew she carried. With a smile Allie pulled her hand out of her pocket, holding out a carrot for him to bit off. As usual the gelding tried to eat the whole thing at once but Allie broke it off for him so he wouldn't choke.
"Good boy Danni, come on time for a ride"
Allie spoke to him as if he were her best friend in the world, extending her hand to him to urge him closer. He took a tentative step and then searched her hand for treats. Smiling she slipped his old leather halter over his delicate ears, not bothering to do up the chin clip. She gave him a small pat on his small white star and then fully opened his stall door to lead him out into the isle.
The sound of the opening door spooking him slightly and he stiffened, not wanting to step out of the stall but a reassuring call from Allie changed his mind and he carefully stepped out onto the concrete floor.
"Good Boy" she praised him as he turned, knowing that she would ask him to turn around to stand on the rubber mat in the isle. With gentle hands Allie clipped the cross ties to his halter and unhooked his leadrope.
Sliding her hand along his side Allie walked around behind him to unclip the blankets many clips. She proceeded back towards his front, undoing the many different clasps. When they were all unhooked she folded the front of the blanket back and pulled it off of him. The sound startled him slightly but all the gelding did was shift uneasily and pull his head up. Again Allie praised him with her voice and a pat.
She groomed him carefully, making sure to brush the shavings off of his clean white socks that were on all 4 of his legs and making sure his tail was clean of straw. She combed his Mohawk of a main over to the left side, hoping it would stay that way for the duration of the ride.
It took Allie almost 20 minutes to groom his entire body, including brushing his face and picking his feet. Now that he was clean she stopped and picked up the first of 4 perfectly white polo wraps for his legs. She carefully applied each one, taking care that there were no wrinkles in the fabric and that they gave him good support. Then she pulled the white dressage pad off of her saddle. The underside was stained a dark gray but the top was clean and made her look professional. Before she placed the clean black dressage saddle on his back Allie carefully put a half pad on to ease the pressure on his backbone. She gave him a pat before reaching for the dressage saddle, lifting it high so the flaps couldn’t get caught and then lowering it over his back. It sank smoothly into place and Allie carefully attached the saddle pad before attaching the girth. She put it on the 2nd holes on the right side and then walked round. On the left side she carefully attached it, pulling the girth tight so the saddle wouldn’t slip.
