Kendra sat on the one of the couches in the rider lounge. She was really bored. She had no lessons going on. She just made herself a fresh cup of tea. Green Tea. She smiled. It was such a good tea. It tasted slightly minty. She liked the taste. She liked any tea. She smiled. She had her backpack full of equipment that she carried around with her. She had a book she was currently read with her. She pulled it out and pulled open to the page she left off.
She continued reading; her mind slowly drifting away from the people around her. She felt like this when she sang. She took another sip of tea and swallowed. It was warm. She warmed her body as it fell down into her stomach. She smiled. Today was a good day. She smiled. She was such in a good mood, but she really wanted to ride Sidney as a jockey, but there wasn't a good enough space in the for her to sprint Sidney. She wouldn't risk anywhere else. They didn't have a space for even barrel racing. It was depressing. She has the heart of a racer and a jumper. She could get another horse. That would cost too much. She hardly had enough money as it is. She would buy another horse when she had money to pay for it. She sighed. She would begin training as a Cross Country and Dressage. She would start beginner and build up.

The chilly spring wind, sent chills up Danielle's spine. She shivered, and zipped up her jacket more. The day was pretty good, except from the cold wind chill that hovered in Berlington. She sighed, and then finally reached the lounge. She was happy to enter the warm room, since now she was safe from the terrible Spring cold outside.
Danielle noticed another girl sitting on a couch. She first walked over to their lounge refridgerator, and got herself some orange soda. She then walked over to the girl, and sat down beside her. "Hello," she smiled at her. She didn't see the girl before, and decided to introduce herself. |

Kendra was almost completely obvious as the someone came in. She continued reading until someone came down and sat next to her and said hello. She blinked. She looked over at the girl and smiled. "Hi there," she said, "How's it going?" She observed the blonde sitting in front of her. She marked the place where she was reading and closed the book. It sat in her lap with the word 'The Off Season' on the front. She smiled. Either this blonde was really snobby or really nice.
Well snobby blondes wouldn't come up and talk to her anyways. They would just shout something at her and she would ignore it. She would bother up all that energy and take out her anger on something or someone else. She breathed in deeply and smiled. She seemed nice. Maybe they had something in common. "What kind of riding do you do?" she asked with a smile on her face. She was being really friendly today which was good.

Looking at the TV, which she noticed wasn't on, she turned back to the girl. "I'm okay.. I guess," she said, with a small laugh. "I'm Danielle. You can call me Danni too if you like." Wondering if she ever saw the girl around the stables, a question popped into her head. "Are you new here at Berlington?" she asked, kindly.
"I ride in Eventing," she smiled, proudly. Danni really was proud of herself, since she followed her dream, which was to become and eventing rider. She didn't do it for the publicity, but for the love of riding, which always made Danielle happy. |

Kendra smiled. She was a nice blonde. She liked Danielle. She seemed like a nice girl and maybe the person she needed to help her train Davy Jones. She would ask. They could train him together. They would become closer and Davy Jones would have two trainers instead of one. "Yes, I'm new at Berlington. That's cool. Which events exactly?" she asked. She would wait a little bit before asking her about Davy Jones. "I'm Kendra," she said with a small smirk. Today was good. She just finished bringing Davy Jones to his new home, hopefully she could begin training soon.

Danielle smiled, happy to meet someone who appeared to be nice. But who knows? She just met her, things can change, but Danni highly doubted it. "I do Dressage, Cross Country, and Show Jumping. They are tons of fun," she said, with a slight laugh. "Nice to meet you Kendra. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask," she smiled. |

She nodded her head. She did have a question. She would ask in a moment. "Good to know," she said with a smile on her face. Danielle was into Dressage, Cross Country, and Show Jumping. Kendra thought in her head. Danielle could finish the final training on Jones with Cross Country because his body shape was made for intense running. She breathed in deeply. She had to ask. It was now or never.
"Hey Danni. I was wondering. Would you help me train a horse I recently bought?" she asked. Well. She finally asked her. Kendra respected Danni. She knew they would make a good team and a good Cross Country horse. She took another sip of the cool green tea in her hands. There was nothing left. She sighed. She wanted to make more, but she didn't want to stop the conversation she had going with Danni.
