It had been a long thought proccess, breeding Revalation. For Mikeala, she had to think about showing, and Revalation's eventing career, how a foal would affect Revalation, and how it would affect Mikeala. Mikeala knew that for a while, she wouldn't be able to ride at all. She might be able to borrow a school horse or something, but Revalation would just sit for awhile, doing nothing, and she might explode when Mikeala had gotten back on her. With Revi's temperment, the foal might be wild, and hard to control, and not make a good eventing mount at all. She had considered all of this. And Mikeala figured everything you do with horses has a risk, so why not.
She had chosen Tuff E' Nuff, a thoroughbred stallion owned by the daughter of the people who owned Berlington. She had seen the stallion being ridden in one of her lessons, and Danni rode him quite well. Mikeala herself hadn't met Danni, but of course she had spoken to her over the phone.

Danielle stood by Tuff, leaning against his stall gate. The stallion was munching on some hay, and his ears kept darting back and forth, listening to any intresting sound. Danni smiled, and thought. Her stallion, was going to cover a mare that day, and she was somehow worried, slightly. What if something went wrong? Tuff has covered previous mares, but never covered a mare when Danielle owned him. The previous coverings went well, so Danielle shouldn't be worried.. right?
Danielle unlatched the stall gate, and grabbed the halter. She calmly, and slowly walked over to her stallion, putting the halter on his head, slowly, not wanting to spook him. The stallion, sensing he was leaving bobbed his head. He always wanted to get out of his stall. Danielle laughed, and patted his neck, then led him out, in the direction of the breeding pasture. They were just going to let the two out together, and see how things went.
Tuff bobbed his head, and pranced while he walked. He sensed a mare in heat, and he whinnied. Danielle then saw the mare, and what looked like the owner. She first walked over to the owner. "You're Mikeala right?" she asked, wanting to make sure she wasn't wrong. |

"Yeap." Mikeala said, gribbing Revalation's leadrope. The mare pulled eagerly towards the other horse and nickered, happy to see another horse. The mare ussualy hated other horses, but when in heat, she was such a ham.
"So do you just want to let them go in the pasture together?" She asked. Though Revi was friendly when in heat, she was still worried about the mare's reaction to the stallion. Revalation hadn't been bred before, so Mikeala had no idea if this whole nice personality would leave or go. She had hobbles, but she really wasn't sure if she wanted to force breed the trakener.

Danielle nodded, and patted her stallion's neck, holding on to the lead rope, tightly, not wanting for the stallion to break loose. Tuff nickered, bobbing his head. "Yeah. Let's just put them together," she said, and then opened the pasture gate, leading her stallion in first. If the mare was one of the stubborn types, then Tuff would back off for a little, and then later try. So Danielle trusted him. She unclipped his lead rope, and her stallion didn't move, just kept his eyes on the mare.
Danielle then walked out of the pasture, and let Mikeala and Revi go in. She leaned against the fence, and waited for Mikeala to let Revi free. |

Mikeala led the Rev in, then quickly unclipped the mare's leadrope from the halter. Revi took off at a gallop as soon as Mikeala had left the pasture and closed the gate.
Revalation took a lap around the large pasture, then ran too the middle. It had been awhile since the mare had been turned out, and she loved being turned out, so she was excited that she could run around. Rev bucked twice, then spooked after she came down, at squirrel that had streaked across the pasture to get back to his tree. Rev slowly calmed down, and approached the stallion cautiously.

Danielle smiled at the two, and then turned to Mikeala. "Should we stay or leave?" she asked. She actually wanted to leave, cause she had to go excersize a school horse, since it hasn't been ridden yet. She looked to her stallion, and wondered what he would do.
Tuff bolted as well. He was happy to be free. Once he calmed down, he trotted over to Revi, but stopped and grazed, sensing her cautiousness. His eyes kept darting back and forth from running squirrels, to the mare. He approached the mare, slowly. |

"Probably leave. I need to clean Rev's stall right now, and her saddle could use a good cleaning." Mikeala replied, already turning to head for the barn.
Rev grew confindence and walked up to Tuff. She sniffed him, then jumped in the air and flew back several feet, playing with him almost. She was unsure of this stallion, not being used to being turned out with other horses because of her attitude when she wasn't in heat. Playing it safe, she put her head down to graze on the grass.

Danielle nodded, and started to walk too. "Yeah I have to go excersize one of the school horses," she said, and then waved to Mikeala, before taking one more look at the horses. Then she left, towards Big Momma's stall.
Tuff whinnied, when she "played" with him. He shook his mane, and then grazed, watching Revi from the corner of his eye. |

Bored with eating already, the mare slowly walked over to Tuff, and nudged him on the neck with her nose, urging him to do something other than graze. Revi was a pretty high maintence mare, and wanted attention from everything.

Tuff took a step back, and nickered. He lowered his head, and grazed. His ears were pricked toward the squirrels running up and down the fence.
After an hour, Danielle put back Big Momma, and went to see the two lovebirds. She smiled, seeing them graze, then wondered if anything happened. She leaned against the fence, and whistled to them.
Tuff, hearing his owner's voice, trotted over to Danni, and nudged her. |

Revi followed Tuff to the fence, not willing to be left alone.
Seeing Mikeala walk over she neighed then nudged her owner for a treat as she stood at the fence. Mikeala smiled slightly and patted the mare.
"Well, nobody's bleeding to death, so I assume everything went okay." Mikeala told Danielle, after feeding Revi a tidbit.

Danielle smiled, patting her stallion's neck. "Yup.. Hopefully it went well," she laughed, and then walked over to the gate, where she opened it, and then closed it. Tuff, walked over to his owner, and nudged her once again. Danni laughed, and then slipped the halter on him. Once that was done, she clipped the lead rope, and then led him out of the pasture. She stopped to close the gate, and then looked to Mikeala. "Are you going to get her now?" she asked,curiously. |

"Yeap." Mikeala replied, and she went into the pasture, and hooked the leadrope onto the mares halter. Revi shoved her happily, and followed Mikeala out of the pasture.
