For centuries, mortals have been ignorant about the fact that among them lived magical beings. Descendants of angels and demons, there also came the descendants of Light and the royal blood that is the Charmed Ones. The war was fought thousands of years ago and the conflict has died down. At least for now. The balance between good and evil has been achieved and they live amongst each other, in a place where mortals are afraid to go to, for whatever reason that they don't understand.
The year is 2008 and the place is Xavier Heights. Mortals have been told to stay away. No mortal has entered the place and lived to tell the tale. A magical barrier has been up around the town for centuries until the war of the original Charmed Ones and the feared Triad ended. The barrier was broken but mortals have since been afraid to enter. Now the demon descendants, the angels, the Lights and the Charmed bloodline live with each other and try to treat each other as equals. Of course, there is still a hierarchy.
The elites think they are better than everybody else because they have higher powers than the untouchables, the supremes and the regals. The demons tend to stick to their kind. The Lights are envious of the Charmed ones. The angels try too hard to make everybody be one big happy family.
This is how the magical community thrives: they stay away from beings that are not their kind and they don't mind anyone else's business. This has worked for the past century. The balance between good and evil is finally achieved. But, will anyone make an attempt to tip the scales?
