Milan is no small town. With a population over one million, don't expect to be regarded as anything more than another number, another faceless stranger. Tourists are common, though don't expect to fit in if you act like one. The city is a busy place, so don't expect to be given a second glance.
Despite that, there is one place that can be considered worse. The people are ruthless, and the scars one receives don't fade soon. The gossip is juicier than ever, the insults are worse, and the social scene is vicious. And what exactly is this hell on earth? Three words, my friend.
The academy is one of the most renowned in the world, a reputation earned by a neat budget and high test scores. Not to mention the tuition to attend this school. There are scholarships available, but not enough to make everybody's dreams come true. A prestigious preparatory academy; doesn't sound like much of a scandal, does it?
